ASTM A815 is the material standard for duplex stainless steel fittings, especially UNS S32205 butt weld pipe fittings, such as 8" 90 degree elbow, sch40 equal tee and UNS pipe reducers.
Duplex stainless steels earn their name as they have a two-phase microstructure that consists of grains of 50% austenitic and 50% ferritic stainless steel.
