ASME B16.5 Blind Flange

Zizi supply 1/2” to 24” Stainless Steel ASTM A182 F316 Blind Flange according to ASME B16.5. We also supply 26” to 60” ASME B16.47 Flange and other standard BL flanges.

ASME B16.5 is a standard for forged steel pipe flanges and flange fittings, it specified the dimensions of weld neck flange, lap joint flange, slip on flange, socket weld flange, threaded flange, blind flange and spectacle blind. The diameter of ASME B16.5 flanges is 1/2” to 24”, pressure form 150lb to 2500lb.

Blind flange is a solid plate that used at the pipes end to stop the flow. Some pipe fittings have the same function as it such as pipe cap and threaded plug. But only blind flange can be freely disassembled, which is convenient for pipeline test and maintenance.

Blind Flange Gasket

The commonly used gaskets are standard gasket in rubber, fibre or spiral wounds. As other flanges, blind flanges are available in raised face and flat face. Raised face blind flanges are recommended to use standard ring gasket, while flat face blind flange is better to use full face gasket.
