Butt weld elbow is a basic pipe fitting that used to changed the direction of pipe system in a certain degree. It has large selection for the dimensions and materials, we offer full size range buttweld pipe elbow in diverse types.
The commonly used steel pipe elbows are 45 degree elbow, 90 degree elbow and 180 degree elbow. Both 90° elbow and 45° elbow are available in long radius and short radius, 45° elbow is short radius more often.

It changes the pipe flow in 90 degree so that it also named as vertical elbow. It is one of the most commonly used elbow type in all pipe systems, and suits for steel construction and structural.
45 Degree elbow produces less friction compared to 90 degree elbow, but it withstand lower pressure. It is change the fluid direction in 45 degrees.
Also know as return elbow, it provide 180 degrees direction change. The application is limited to minimum deposition and low turbulence system because it usually results in low pressure.
Long Radius Elbow
Any degrees elbow is available in long radius, it means the radius of elbow is equal to 1.5 times of its diameter.
Short radius elbow is often used when space is not enough. Its radius is equal to its diameter.
